Indian District = US county ;)

I would put an address of family in India and ask them for a letter.

Bandicoot Jul 30, 2025 10:56 pm

Just a letter saying they are a reference? Does their proof of address need to be uploaded separately?

oliver2002 Jul 31, 2025 1:20 am

Just add their Aadhar in the same letter/pdf that you upload.

Will be back in India next week for the first time since registering, and planning to get my biometrics done at immigration when I land in HYD.
Any recent data points on timeline and next steps once the biometrics are done?

EDIT: I also just registered a family member, and on the Biometric QR Code page, in the "Passport number" field, it doesn't list the passport number, but instead says "INDIA"
I'm wondering if there was a mixup in the application where place of birth was entered instead of Passport number.
Any recommendation on what to do here? Just submit another application? Any issues with 2 applications submitted for same person?

I did the biometrics scan on a Sunday evening at around 4pm, and got an email confirming the enrollment in the early a.m. on Wednesday. There are no next steps after that, you are enrolled in the program and can use the e-gates.

Once you receive biometrics confirmation then you are good to go.

Has anyone here had their passport reissued after successfully enrolling for FTI TTP? I'll have my new passport soon (hopefully). Will I need to apply afresh? There is a "Renew TTP" button on the page after you log in to the FTI site, but clicking it doesn't do anything for me.

Not yet but have to get my son's renewed in a couple of months. Would be helpful to know if anyone has done this. If not then I'll update my experience in a couple of months.

Yes, I did this. Had to submit fingerprints again to link them to the new passport number but it was approved in a few hours.

Used the system for the first time today. Was a bit apprehensive because my middle name was not in the PNR but everything worked as it should and was thru in under a minute. Still feels weird having no stamp in my passport. Will print out the proof of arrival this week so all in good Sunday morning when leave from DEL.

Last time on arrival the gate worked for me (always failed in the past), but didn't work on departure. I told the immigration officer that I had used the egate on arrival, and so there was no stamp. It wasn't an issue.

Also, is there somewhere online that we can obtain a proof of arrival?

Some have posted upthread that you can see your entry/exit history in the portal.

Out of boredom I looked at the bar code of the Lufthansa BP I scanned at the gate. It didn't have my middle name in it. So the BP scan just serves the purpose of finding your arrival data uploaded by the airline.

I got my approval during my last trip thankfully.
But I've been trying to register a family member for the past 1 week, and the website is absolutely terrible now for some reason.
It works until you get to the document upload page. But then it never loads the full page, no matter what browser, computer, etc I've tried. I've filled out 3 applications for them, restarting the process. It lets me upload a few documents, but when it's time to reload to upload the rest, it just stops halfway. I don't know what else to do, anyone have any tips?
