Oh, it does only earn 100% instead of 125 % :(

Regardless, you will be 3k miles away from *G, which is closer than 20k...

I know, only a couple days ago they had it at 125%. Now there is not even any notice of the change

Lets hope they bring back the 125% offer...

My agency has informed me that i may have to be in Delaware city/Dover for about 15 days before going to NYC.. And i will be booking AI nonstop to JFK.. How do i get from JFK to Delaware city/Dover? Whats the distance from JFK to Delaware/Dover? How are the vegetarian options and rentals in these two cities?

What will be the best time to make a booking on AI nonstop to JFK? My dates of travel are 24 june 2012 and return on 31 july 2012... my dates are flexible by 4 days.. i understand weekends will be expensive compared to weekday tickets.
and should i consider a travel agent or will the AI website provide the best deals?

The most convenient and reliable way is probably Amtrak. The cheapest way is probably chinatown bus. Greyhound will be more expensive, but also more reliable. Renting a car and paying for gas is the most expensive out of the 3 options - renting a car in Dover will be much cheaper.

It is a short journey, and there will be no food to speak of, so you don't have to worry about vegetarian options - just bring food yourself ;). Amtrak sells food on board, but it tends to be terrible tasting...

Not sure what the exact distance is, but google maps is your friend ;)

Best option is probably Airtrain from the airport to Long Island Railroad to NY Penn Station to Amtrak, which will only take you to Wilmington, Delaware. Train from NY Penn to Wilmington about 2 hours, maybe 3 hours total from JFK. Looks like Amtrak offers connecting bus service to Dover, but you might be better off just renting a car in Wilmington. FWIW, flying into EWR would probably cut about an hour off the whole journey though Amtrak frequency at EWR airport is limited, only one train every 2-3 hours I think.

It's a rather small city but it shouldn't be too hard to find some vegetarian options. There will also be grocery stores. @:-) Don't know what you mean about "rentals".

I agree with ijgordon. EWR is definitely the better option to get to Dover, DE. Amtrak stops right at the airport. Worse case scenario, if you find yourself very far between trains, is to take a NJ Transit train one stop north to Newark Penn Station and get one of the frequent Amtrak trains out of there.

You should look into flying into Philadelphia. Are you going to need a car in Dover. PHL is probably a lot cheaper for car rentals. BWI and IAD are probably options too. Much will depend on if you need a car or not. If you need a car then flying into NYC will be a lot more expensive.

Flying to PHL is not an option.. so will have to stick between JFK and EWR.. although i wud prefer the nonstop to JFK

Is CO DEL-EWR any good compared to AI DEL-JFK and DEL-BOM-EWR?

In Y?
No.

I would not spend more than 2 hours in a CO Y seat if you paid me. Probably the most uncomfortable seats in the country...

To be honest, if you are going to be taking a connection anyway and you need to get to Dover, i'd suggest you take a connection in Europe and fly to PHL. Lufthansa/Swiss/Austrian connecting to US Airways should price out reasonably affordably, and all of them are MUCH better than CO or connecting in BOM
