Avoid CDG.
There are threads about issues connecting in FRA with visa issues. That may or may not apply to you and your mother. It depends on what kind of Passport you have.

What is your end destination?

Avoid BOM... its pathetic

Connection through LHR especially T5 should be fine.

connection through lhr will also include ridiculous landing & take off fees which will increase the price of the ticket....

From a convenience viewpoint T5 is far far better than the options put forth by OP.

Brussels is super easy, same terminal, 2h waiting, no excessive security and Jet is pretty good.

i think bru would be the easiest....like i said before, no need to pay extra just for a connection....also, you need a transit visa to pass through lhr....another extra added cost....

Wrong..If one has a valid US visa on passport, then UK transit visa is not at all required.

in the op's case you are correct, but my posts regarding lhr are in general & not just for the op....stupid landing & take-off fees along with the airside transit visa in general make for transiting through lhr a terrible idea....

in that case i would strongly urge the op to not fly through lhr due to the extra fee associated with this airport....;)

How much difference does this fee create in overall ticket cost? Do you know? Check prices for June next year on ITA.. you will find BA is cheaper than 9W, Swiss, Delta etc .. Qatar Airways is the only cheaper option to BA by INR 3K (i.e. $60)

Both EWR and JFK suck.

The main advantage of EWR is that it's much closer to Manhattan than JFK is. But both airports are old, grungy, and not terribly pleasant to deal with. Your experience at JFK, though, will vary substantially according to which terminal you travel through.

Both airports have an "Airtrain" shuttle system that links you with the urban transit network - in EWR's case, you connect to NJ Transit (suburban rail) for a direct train to New York Penn Station. For EWR, you can take the Airtrain to the subway as well as to commuter rail, but it can take well over an hour to make it to Midtown.

The customer experience, amenities, shopping etc. at both airports are very limited compared to airports in Europe, for example.

i have seen the fee go up as much as $300....

in june ba is actually more expensive than 9w, only by a few hundred inr....

once both airlines load their web specials & cheap fares in q1 next year then you will see the difference....
