- Login problems: If you have trouble logging into the Iberia website, type in your number and password by hand instead of using autocomplete. For some people this fixes login issues.
- Partner awards: Many flights on partners will not be available as one-way. You must redeem AA flights as a round trip for example
- Cancellations: Iberia awards on AA cannot be cancelled.

Ultimately the only data points that truly matter are from those who genuinely spent their Avios cleanly through IB+. Every single bonus Avios spent, no refunds / date changes, no BA transfers, etc. If those people receive emails then the email is surely being sent in batches to everybody who participated, rather than targeted to those who haven't yet spent all of their promo Avios.
I don't think I've seen a data point like that, which leads me to conclude that some people are in for a nasty surprise on 1 December...

Avios pricing for mixed IB/BA + partner awards seems very odd. I've picked a simple example itinerary (below) to highlight this. Remember that ORD-MAD on IB is in band 5
ORD-MAD-ORD "Blue Class" as 1 award = 40,000 avios (peak) ^
DTW-ORD-MAD-ORD-DTW "Blue Class" as 1 award = 65,000 avios (partner 8001 - 12,400 band) ^
DTW-ORD-MAD-ORD-DTW "Blue Class" as 1 award with premium economy on ORD-MAD-ORD = 120,600 avios (????)
Is that premium economy IB +partner avios pricing correct?

The obvious solution is to book ORD-MAD-ORD separately from the DTW-ORD-DTW and leave yourself lots of time for delays. It shouldn't be too difficult given the flight times of ORD-MAD...

"Blue Class" is how Iberia refers to saver economy space on their website. "Economy" award space is priced significantly higher. I am award that premium economy award prices aren't listed on the IB partner award chart. The IB site however *does* allow you to price partner awards that include IB / BA premium economy segments.
Assuming the PE + partner doesn't actually error out before confirmation, I'm not sure what you're getting about. You always have to pay substantially more to fly in PE vs. Blue.

can't login to IB Plus account
I keep getting the old "An error has occurred in the login" message when trying to access my account. Have tried manually typing in all login information to avoid the autocomplete issues, but no luck. Had no trouble yesterday. Anyone else experiencing this?

I tried now, I also can't login. But I have an old account that was never locked during the promotion, so I would guess that they are just making some changes to the system (in preparation of Dec 1?) and that that is causing the issues.

I appreciate the tip about firefox. Just tried it with firefox but am still getting the same problem. Also good to see that it isn't just me having the issue. Guess we'll have to wait it out.
