Motown, just noticed that your flight has now been changed to a 333. That's one cabin if 7 rows and then a mini0cabin of two rows (all 1-2-1).

I've tried scrolling through this but can't find an answer to my question.
On an A330-300 we can choose between 1E/G or 3E/G (the honeymoon seats in the middle).
I like the idea of being in the front row and having a boarding card with row 1, but is there any disadvantage to this compared to row 3 (like less overhead storage, or noise from the galley etc)?
Thanks!

Flying RT in September in Business. From the pictures, it seems that the middle seats where the seats are actually close to each other are VERY close to each other. And the ones with consoles between us seem to have no privacy from the aisle.
My decision was that my wife and I will seat in the right window seats - rows 3 and 5 to have the console on the aisle and the seat by the window but that would only be for the outbound when I want room to sleep. On the return, I took the center seats sitting next to each other.
Questions:
1. Good reasoning? Still plenty of time to change
2. Are those center seats I mentioned that close to each other? Is there a decent armrest between them so we won't be fighting over it?
Thanks!

I saw your question the other day, but I didn't reply because I have never flown in row 1 myself. I don't think there is any difference. Also, if the problem is noise from the galley I'm the worst person to notice, since I don't sleep much on planes and don't mind. Certainly the overhead storage is plenty in any row.
