seems like it would be easier to just give the x amount of bottles per day at once instead of daily

Well for one the Hyatt policy says the waters are to be given daily. Then for another as seen by the breakfast disaster that could lead to abuse. What about the people who book for 2 weeks just hand them 28 waters at check in?

The breakfast card is new to me. Will find out tomorrow morning on how to use them.

Do you know if the stay from Apr 28th to May 1st (3 nights) will be eligible for the 3K bonus journeys?
I just saw the breakfast card posted to one of the FB group, it is just information but not a voucher, still said just charged to the room, present the card instead of let them know being globalist so they will add the gratuity to the bill, I guess base on my previous stays, some servers did not ask if I am globalist first, and I saw on the receipt that it didn't print "Hyatt breakfast" on the top, without that gratuity wasn't added, therefore they missed out on tips

When I checked in last Sunday there wasn't water cards, it is only last Monday I saw a post here, then I went back to VIP registration and asked, they gave me a bunch of cards since I had two rooms, last night at main front desk she did not give me anything at all

I don't think we will get another 3K bonus as I re-read the rules of bonus journey, said something about complete the stay / check out on the 30th.

I read the FAQ for Bonus Journeys and saw this:

"10.I have registered for the promotion and have a stay on April 30 with a checkout on May 1, 2024. Will the night count towards the promotion?
Yes, Eligible Nights completed between March 1 and April 30, 2024, will count toward the promotion. However, if a stay has Eligible Nights during the Promotion Period but is not completed during the Promotion Period, the stay must be completed by October 31, 2024, in order to have those Eligible Nights on that stay that were completed after registration and during the promotion period count for this promotion."

Just completed another 5-days "stay" last week (April 21st check in, April 26th checkout)

- I only stayed 2 out of the 5 days (Physically checked in 21st at around 10pm, and I just left at around 23rd 6pm for a flight, left a DND sign up)
- Housekeeping came by both days at around 11am
- Went to general check-in since VIP was closed by the time I arrived
- on the first day I didn't get any water vouchers, but simply just got two bottles from FD. Subsequent days I went to VIP and they gave me vouchers - 3 days worth + 2 bottles on the spot
- no coffee or pastries at VIP; I asked and they simply said they don't have them
- Breakfast was a bit confusing since I told them I am Globalist at FD and the server but somehow it got missed, so at cashier reminded them and they changed my receipt to Hyatt breakfast. 2nd day receipt came with "Hyatt breakfast" already printed so that went without hiccup
- Steak & Eggs is pretty good imo although a bit too heavy for breakfast; I got Hash & Chorizo on my 2nd day since I heard it got recommended here. Both were pretty decent, and portions were so huge I had to take both back to my room and eat again for lunch
- First day, was told only one drink is comped, so I only got a latte. 2nd Day I didn't ask for Globalist benefits and simply just ordered a coffee and an orange juice. Didn't get any question at cashier, and never showed up on my hotel bill
- Despite the 85F+ weather I decided to see how long it took me to get to the strip via walking. From Rio lobby to front of Caesar took me around 20 minutes (15 if I didn't get stopped by the traffic light)

At the end, ~$125 for 5 EQNs and ~6000 points and two breakfasts that are "worth" around $100 after tax and tip. Granted the food was a bit overpriced, but $100 to cover 4 meals (2 breakfast + 2 lunch for me personally) is a pretty good deal. Think going forward this will be a good plan B to hit Globalist for cheap.

I also just realized the dates in my past stays is wrong ... oh wells

this is a VIP registration but not a VIP lounge, more like priority checkin, if you are familiar with priority checkin with MGM, neither gold lounge at MGM grand, or VIP checkin at Bellagio or Mandalay bay have much of anything neither.

Just always remember it is 1 entree + 1 coffee/tea + 1 juice, really no different than any properties globalist breakfast where there is no lounge no buffet, pretty simple and not confusing at all.

Well as expected, those cards are not vouchers but simply information for us, as I went to VIP registration to get one of those cards before I head to hash house, the host didn't take it, the server didn't take it, and she said just give it to cashier, but the cashier didnt take it neither and said to me just keep that card for myself, as it needs to be room charge anyway just like before

I understand that, was just saying since someone earlier in the thread mentioned coffee before so I checked and there wasn't. I remembered the first time I went there was some water dispenser too but that seems to be gone also.

I think that person was just making that up, as I remember that person also talked about breakfast voucher, which I replied none of that ever exist since my first stay at Rio was exactly a month ago today, and since then this is my third time I am at Rio, if you read up thread, nobody else mentioned coffee neither if my sample is not enough for you to confirm

Also as I point out 3 posts above, that is a breakfast information card but not a voucher as NOBODY at hash house are collecting these cards, I know this as I am at Rio at the moment !!

Proof that they exist? Seems like a legitimate reason. It does say to provide it to your server, so its definitely not only an information card.

My guess is that they are starting the process now and by mid-May will have it as a formal process, again just a guess.

FWIW, I stayed last week and did not receive breakfast or water cards. At breakfast, I simply charged it to the room and it didn't even show up. Seems like clockwork now.

Im not saying its a uniform policy as of yet, but from multiple data points it appears its heading in that direction. I was simply proving a screenshot of the said water and breakfast vouchers as proof that some people have started receiving them. Im guessing itll of course take time to roll out its definitely not an overnight change.

Also, the cards do say to charge it to your room, youre just supposed to provide it to your wait staff so they get their gratuity (I think).

From what Ive seen theres just a lot of trial and error going on to see whats going to work best.

Once again, I am at Rio right now but you are not, (I got that card too when I went back to VIP registration) NOBODY at hash house are taking these cards no matter the host or the server or the cashier, and I actually asked if they are taking it and ALL said no, so it means absolutely nothing what it said on the card but simply just information
