Agree that Canberra is not a particularly memorable Park Hyatt. Besides the historical nature nothing about it stands out, putting it at the bottom of my list.
Top 3 PH's for me are as follows, though Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi only just misses out.
1. Park Hyatt Sydney
2. Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa
3. Park Hyatt Seoul

Of the ones I have been to, in terms of me wanting to return:
1) Maldives (mainly just because it's the Maldives)
2) Palacio Duhau (Buenos Aires)
3) Dubai
4) Aviara
5) Abu Dhabi
6) Tokyo
7) Paris
8) New York
9) Istanbul
10) Zuerich
11) Chicago
12) Shanghai
13) Beijing
14) Hamburg
To Do List:
St. Kitts, Siem Reap, Bangkok, Busan, Kyoto, Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland
Looking at the list, maybe it would be nice to do all of those except St. Kitts in one trip when the time is right...

PH Milano would be my #1, as I have stayed there the most and can't beat the location for shopping, the Golden triangle, the Brera District and close by 5 star hotels for aperitif, as the staff always members me.
Out of the following PH's I have stayed at: Washington, DC, Chicago, Former Toronto, Aviara, Dubai, Milan, Mendoza, Melbourne, Seoul, best upgrade was at the Aviara and worst was Melbourne due to the club debacle going back over 6 years ago.

I too like the PH brand overall. Been to PHs in Paris, Milan, Zurich, Vienna, Istanbul, Washington DC, Chicago, New York, Tokyo, Kyoto and Mendoza (plus Philadelphia way back when). Of these Mendoza was at the bottom by a wide margin. Top? I think the PH Tokyo is my favorite. I just have a deep sense of well being staying there. The Spa Room bathrooms at the PH Istanbul make it the runner up.

I agree with MSPeconomist and would go with the PH in Buenos Aires, if I was staying in the palace, though the newer tower rooms are also very good.
I did like the PH Tokyo and PH Shanghai equally for the cities.
Also have stayed at PH Zurich, PH Milan, and PH Vendome-always used FFN's so I've never "paid" a night at these.
PH Cicago because I'm originally from Chi-town and it's so nice there, well not so much in February.
I liked the PH Century City (LA) before it converted to an IC, as they gave me the top floor suite on a clear day and had veiws in both directions-sea and city.
PH Hamburg was good, just reminded me of more like a GH, with a Grand Club to boot. Spent a few hours there booking the $46 USAir FC Watertown tickets. Kids everywhere though!
