Nothing in writing, but I spoke with a very nice lady at their front desk who confirmed with confidence the all-inclusive addition.

Except for those of us who had bookings prior to July 15th that were cancelled and now can't be rebooked.

Edit - I was just able to book a date in the future using points and it's still 30k a night. So might have a quick chance to still take advantage.

considering you can still book at 30k, and big disclosure on the same booking page that the resort is all inclusive, I would hope bookings made now is also included.

OMAAT reports all award bookings are now all inclusive regardless of when booked. Great news. I suspect award availability will be booked up promptly.

How are y'all finding available dates for award nights?
It's unavailable for everything I've looked.

Look for 2021, found some dates available. Speculative booking at this point.

Many weekdays are open in 2021. Weekends are tough.

Yeah - I was re-reserving yesterday, and there were a decent number of open dates. Now, most are gone. Word gets out fast here on FT.

I found a weekend pretty quickly (April 2021), but they say they charge a nights deposit, probably a good idea as it will cut down on speculative bookings.

The news is out on the blogs, too. I’m sure plenty of speculative bookings already had been made for 2020 and 2021 even prior to this all inclusive announcement, too. So it should be a tougher get in the future—and appropriately so. This may be the best award redemption in the entirety of WoH.

Was planning to go again this spring and then the corona BS ruined everthing. Rebooked for June 2021. My concierge called it the "hot property of the week." Seems many globalists have jumped on this. You figure tons of people with Chase rewards also are booking. I will see you all there next year.

I wonder why specifically Globalists?

Also, Chase Rewards are Cat1-4 so not usable here AFAIK.

I think they were referring to Chase UR point transfers to Hyatt for award stays in rooms, suites, and premium suites. I’m sure more than Globalists jumped on award bookings here, but the concierges really can speak only to increased Globalist activity.

Now for Ventana, being Globalist makes almost no difference and offers less advantage since it’s all inclusive and one can use Hyatt/UR points for rooms, suites, and premium suites.

Ah, I was like I don’t think Globalists specifically are jumping on this more than any other group.

You could transfer UR from Chase as a Member or Discoverist too.

The only advantage I see to Globalist is the room upgrade which you may receive simply booking through Prive’ since this is one of their properties.
