I had an amazing concierge (Michelle J) and received an email in May that I was assigned a new concierge. I'm bummed as she was fantastic, but I'm a pretty low maintenance / easy travel request traveller (mainly TSUs and room type changes), so as long as my current one can do the basics and reply in a timely matter, I'll be happy. Haven't had to use my new concierge yet

I wanted to ask my old (and now new) concierge a non-urgent question. If he's not off, he's generally very responsive.
BUT, now I feel a bit uncomfortable. I thought we had a good relationship, and I even wrote his boss a glowing email about him. If in fact they did get to choose who they kept, well, I guess there were others he preferred to hang on to. I did not nag or bother him and over the last 2 years have only used him a couple of times, though it was for very specific requests. As a matter of fact, I was cleaning out my emails and found some info I thought would help him in his position and offered it - which he accepted and I sent.
So I'm a bit perplexed about this whole thing.

Happy that mine kept me (if indeed the process above occurred). Shes the best and I try to point this out to her every chance I get!

For the longest time, I had either my Concierge on block or he/she never emailed me post intro. Anyway, for the longest time, I just assumed this wasn't really a service worth making an effort to utilize (generally, don't like writing emails or making phone calls unless absolutely necessary), but I read how you folks kept raving about your guy/gal at this dept.
Anyway, long story short, had an issue this year with a booking and couldn't resolve it by contacting the property directly. So, before cancelling completely, as a final act of desperation, contacted my concierge who, to my utter shock and pleasant surprise, not only resolved it, but got terms much better than I had been able to on my own.

Regardless, please dont put him on the spot by confronting him or asking... even at the Concierge level these are not highly paid people.

Could be days, could be a month or more. No rhyme or reason to it.

After not getting an email from my concierge, I emailed my old concierge for help, who then replied that she is my new concierge again!
Really not quite sure what happened, but super super super happy to have her back
