I wanted to ask my old (and now new) concierge a non-urgent question. If he's not off, he's generally very responsive.

BUT, now I feel a bit uncomfortable. I thought we had a good relationship, and I even wrote his boss a glowing email about him. If in fact they did get to choose who they kept, well, I guess there were others he preferred to hang on to. I did not nag or bother him and over the last 2 years have only used him a couple of times, though it was for very specific requests. As a matter of fact, I was cleaning out my emails and found some info I thought would help him in his position and offered it - which he accepted and I sent.

So I'm a bit perplexed about this whole thing.
