I suspect that it might have something to do with how much you charge to the room that doesn't get comped, but I can't quite nail it down.
Theory: MLife doesn't have the the ability in their system to determine if a stay was on a qualifying vs non qualifying rate (since they didn't need it prior to the partnership) and they are doing something hacky like checking to see how much you spend after comps, comparing it to the lowest qualifying rate, and giving you credit for nights if you spend at least that much.
Or something like that.

Me neither, though I have friends who have.

As someone who has been visiting Vegas for 3+ decades this whole discussion is hilarious. I remember when Mirage first went up and was the bomb and now it's almost MGM's low rent hotel compared to the newer properties. All the Strip hotels have nice rooms and suites for top tier gamblers and others with $$$ to burn. What sets them apart are the common areas and casino. High ceilings, good ventilation (hard to come by surrounded by chain smokers) and above all real dealers not the H2C automatons with zero personality. Unfortunately it is hard to find dealers with personality - used to find them at Palms and Hard Rock and sometimes the high roller rooms with $100 tables. But rarely at regular strip casino tables.
As for casino perks I would love some day to have access to the private lounges, so I don't have to wait at the bar for a drink (or worse for the table waitress who shows once an hour). In general I don't deal with lines so the status that allows you to completely bypass the buffet lines would be nice too. Have been lucky not to wait much for checkin but the VIP checkin is certainly nice to have available when a convention arrives. Airport limo is great too but you can also bypass the taxi line by hiring a redcap to take your luggage. Suite upgrades (and I mean the premium top level ones) are probably the best perk, but much harder to get without a host as the objective now is to monetize everything. The $20 trick was shot down last summer at Wynn (Encore) and Palazzo (Venetian).

The past year, my comped nights all counted for night credit. Not sure if this triggered it, but made sure there were some small charges to the room. Not much, like a gelato, here and there. Have some comped nights for Feb, and curious to see if they'll count.

This year, 3 comp'd nights with ~$700 room charges did NOT count. Last year, comp'd nights did.

In the past 6 months I have had two comped stays at Mlife properties.
3 Nights at NYNY with ZERO spend on the room - Counted as 3 Qualifying Nights
1 Night at Bellagio with Resort Fee spend on the room - Counted as 0 Qualifying Nights
Can any admins move these comments about Qualifying Nights at MLife properties to their own thread in the Hyatt forum?

Basically, suppose that the minimum qualifying rate is $200. Then I suspect that if your bill is more than $200/night after discounts, comps, etc, you will get the credit.
So if you get a $100 discounted MyVegas rate and don't charge to the room, you won't get the credit. But if you charge $150 for dinner (bringing your total bill to $250, which is more than $200) then you will.
I'm not sure if this is accurate (I'm just guessing) but I have noticed that when my friend charges a lot to his comped room (eg $2000 at a pool) he gets night credits, but when he charges just a little he doesn't (he plays enough to get comped rooms, but not much F&B on top of that). I used to play enough to get everything comped and I never got any Hyatt night credit (it would still show up in my Hyatt stay history, but with 0 qualifying nights).

How to match to Noir
Is there a website to go to for the Globalist to Noir match? I just did the link on the Hyatt website and it only matched me to Gold.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Based on your experience here, I'm not expecting my comped nights to count for nights qualification, which is unfortunate. Stating the obvious here, but it would be helpful if comped nights count for stays.

I do charge stuff to the room but that didn't change. Also the minimum qualifying rate isn't high. I book $17-$49 rates at MGM properties all the time and they always post properly with Mirage being the most reliable to auto-post quickly.
