Thanks for the clarification. I'd assumed there was something like that, but I didn't realize it was that strict.

While I've really liked working with Prive advisors before, it's always been such a pain to need to feed the dates and hotels you're interested in. I'm really glad I stumbled on this workaround since it would save both myself and the advisor time.

On Mobile Only (iOS, possibly Android) you can search with the Prive rate code of 37859 to see the potential rate options for any participating hotels. This does NOT work in a browser.

For example, looking at Andaz Mayakoba for 10/29-11/2, Prive has three rate quotes:
- Regular Prive
- Prive All Inclusive
- Prive 3rd night free

(If people would prefer for me to delete this post to keep the information private, let me know).
I tried using this code under Special Offer Code and all 3 tries returned "The requested special rate is unavailable for the dates entered." I have more time than an advisor so I would like to be able to check on rates before contacting an advisor.

Just tried again in the Corporate /Group # and saw Prive rate. Thanks.

Hmm...

Something interesting I came across checking this way was that the 3rd Night Free was repeated. When I searched a 7 Night stay the 3rd and 6th Nights were marked as $0.00.

Is this also how Prive’ advisors see it or is this possibly new (letting the 3rd night free repeat)?

Edit: This is now showing under Rate Rules that the 3rd Night Free IS REPEATABLE!

Can a Prive’ Advisor check as of today to confirm? Hyatt and Prive’ may have changed their thinking to allow it to be repeatable.

Another interesting thing is it appears Hyatt Centric Park City is a Hyatt Prive’ participating property which isn’t listed anywhere.

It’s showing as similar to HC French Quarter in that theres no property credit, but it does show welcome amenity, room upgrade and daily breakfast for two.

Can a Prive’ Advisor confirm this? (Also not shown as participating in the 3rd Night Free if anyone was wondering).

Seems to be property-specific. I just checked Andaz Tokyo for a 7-night stay in September and the rate rules say "3rd night free one time per stay not repeatable".

Very interesting as I’ve checked several properties in North and South America all showing the 3rd Night Free being repeatable.

I also just checked European properties that are participating which also show it is repeatable like Andaz Amsterdam.

Then I check Asian properties and it’s not showing as repeatable. So it’s looking like all countries outside of Asia have the repeatable 3rd Night Free.

If booking a Prive rate on a "third night free rate", do we get World of Hyatt NIGHT CREDIT for the free night? Or, do we only get two nights' credit?

Guess you didn't check all the Asian properties. Hyatt Centric Hong Kong is showing the third night free as repeatable.

You should not get a night credit for the free night. In rare cases an error can occur and the free night is credited, but don't count on it.

It is property specific. There are a handful of properties that have now allowed the third night to be repeated.

Edited to add that it does appear there are more than a handful of properties allowing this to be repeatable, but I'm still finding plenty that do not. So it's hit or miss. And we haven't received any update from Privé showing that the promotion has changed, so we're assuming some individual properties have made the decision to allow the promotion at their individual property be repeatable.

It does appear they recently were added to the program, however there is no property credit, no third night free offer and no confirmed room upgrade at the time of booking (it is subject to availability at check-in). So I’m going to get some clarification from the Privé team on that one.

That’s excellent news! I’m sure there are a lot of people staying 6+ nights who this would help a lot.

Hopefully in time they’ll add more benefits, at least for now they have their foot into Prive’.

I think HC Park City is an amazing property, but I can see it not being attractive to non-Globalists with the Daily Resort Fee and highly seasonal rates from December through April. The times we’ve stayed there it’s been very low occupancy essentially only owners staying there. This property has condos/suites which people actually buy/own use them seasonally and I believe allow the hotel to rent them out the rest of the year is what someone had told us on our last visit.

So any benefit to a Glob? By omission, non-Glob might get breakfast, late checkout?

Booking there as a Glob the only benefit would be a Welcome Amenity. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it as a Glob as AAA rates tend to be much cheaper, unless they decide to participate in the 3rd Night Free Offer.

As a Non-Glob you’d get an upgrade at check in, welcome amenity and daily Full Breakfast for 2. No Guaranteed Late Check Out. The Breakfast for 2 is a good benefit though as the last few stays they’ve said to have in room dining, I’d guess they’d do the same for a Prive’ guest.

I’m a globalist and pretty much book all paid stays as Prive these days because it saves me tons of money in securing the exact fancy suite i want by booking one-category lower. the rate differential between the booked suite and the one-category higher suite is often quite material (i.e. think $100-$200 a night savings). throw in the $100 resort credit for even more savings. and i prefer restaurant brekkie over club lounge brekkie.

a killer deal (when it works) is cheapest Prive rate plan, plus TSU to standard suite, plus further one-category confirmed Prive upgrade to premium suite. some uppity Prive agents, including some in this thread, will balk at such a request, so just move along if your agent is such a turd. i like my Prive agent to be an interchangable clog in a large agency (think Citi Aspire, AMEX Plat) over having to deal with some put-upon one man shop agent.
