I own a time-share at the Costa Linda (next door to the Bucuti) - I can tell you for sure that for late 20s you want to be in the high-rise area, not the low-rise. Aruba is easy to get around, but there's nothing within walking distance of the Bucuti for going out, but lots around the Hyatt.

We are going in a couple of months and are getting a room and then a connecting room for the kids. We will be on the club floor. We were wanting a pool/ocean view but were told that those rooms don't connect and that only the island/ocean view rooms connect. So that leaves me with two questions...
Does anyone know if they pool/ocean view rooms do not connect?
Also,
Does anyone know how to ocean/island view rooms are on the club floor?
Thanks in advance.

Absolutely worth it. We have our 3rd stay coming up next month, using 25k points a night for 6 nights. You will love it.

You almost made me doubt myself in thinking we might not be talking about the same property.... but no.
Yes, they caught that one window in a corner you can actually see something through.... for the rest you have to stand. It's hardly a representative photo they are showing (hint: they tend to do that in property provided photo's.)
So no windows whatsoever since you are at the 9th floor and all the other (small) windows have no view but show only blue sky when you are sitting down. Who is actually going to be sitting in such an area when you are in the Caribbean. I'm glad that I payed for the restaurant breakfast when I was there so I didn't have to locked up in such an area for breakfast...
But, hey... be my guest calling this a great lounge. I know it isn't. At least not if you know better than most of the lounges in the US.
I still stand by my review in 2012, http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/18609374-post254.html, nothing has changed. In the end I had some trouble free days and ended up liking the hotel somewhat better than the first days, but not the lounge.
This is a photo I just found that resembles exactly as I remember it:
A bit more light in the rooms at the side but nothing that even resembles a view from anything but that one position.

The pictures you chose are not representative of what one finds when looking at the 360' view on the HR Aruba website. I have included them here for clarity. To each their own on how good (or crappy) a given RC is, but room configurations are pretty straight forward.

Sub-par across the board...
Your photos are not of the club lounge, unless they threw out all of the furniture and renovated both sides in the last four months. That would appear to be photos of a suite room.
The lounge is in fact dungeon-like, tight in space, with sub-par food offerings. They offer free beer and wine in the evenings, but that is the only difference I noted compared to a US Regency Club Lounge.
During peak season, I find this resort to be overcrowded and not worth the price/points. Go with Playa del Carmen, Baha Mar or any of the Caribbean/Mexico Ziva/Zilara properties over HR Aruba. This one ranks dead last in my opinion.

I never called it a great lounge (nor anything else), I simply corrected your statement that the lounge was "windowless". I have better things to do than debate how many windows a given regency club has, but I think the OP is owed a clarification.

Those are literally screen shots from the 360' view titled "Regency Club Lounge". However, if that's not the case, then my apologies to RTW1.
Perhaps someone that has been more recent can confirm. Either scenario is odd.

We were there in 2013 so the property could have changed by now. But I agree fully about the lounge - it was one of the worst lounges I have experienced. I do think those pictures are correct, but the pic with sliding door is in one far corner of the lounge. We did sit in that same room a couple times but it still did not feel like we were in the Caribbean. And the food was not very good.

Real Club Lounge Photo
Was just there in January. Your photos are not of the club lounge.
