Not really what I have come to expect and love about the Hyatt brand.

Well, it hardly matters now and it must not bother me as much as i thought it did as I will hit diamond with Hyatt on my own with tonights stay. ^
Some of my emails have been answered in as little as 10min, not sure what your problem was. Possible spam filters?

Well, anything is of course possible. However, I did receive the email detailing the procedure as well as a response emails they sent to me following the two emails that I sent them asking if they received my information. Both from different people. Auto emails to be sure.

The credentials were in excess of what they requested and our companies fax machine logs and confirms transmission so I have no idea why I was ignored...

I half expected to just log on one day and everything was taken care of but that thought has long since past.

I would also like to know, as I too did a match several years ago. This is now a challenge as opposed to a straight match, so maybe everyone is now open to one challenge. Can the Gold Passport Concierge give us the definitive answer?

Why not just email asking? The worst they do is reject your request for a challenge.

You'll also take a 2-5 point hit on your self-esteem score...but I digress.

I know that Hyatt doesn`t do tier matches anymore. For tier matches you needed status with another chain p l u s at least 10 stays or 30 nights with that chain.
Now,for the Diamond trial, will 8 nights with Marriott (Gold) be sufficient to get the chance for a trial,or is it still 10 stays or 30 nights ?
And,2nd question:can I send my statement to [email protected] or should I send it to [email protected]?
As my 12 nights-if accepted for the trial- will begin on 5th of August,I`d need a fast reply.

I believe for a challenge, you have to be a top tier of that program + complete the challenge (12 nights in 60 days).

You can try PMing Gold Passport Concierge for more details.

Last report was rejection without the 10stays so you could assume 8 isn't good enough.

Thanks for the answers.Reading post #154 I hoped that the 10-stay requirement is only valid for a status match but not for this special Diamond trial promotion offer. But I`ll give it a try.Is [email protected] the mail address?

I wrote Hyatt regarding the Diamond Challenge and they informed me to mail or email a statement of my account activity with a competitor for processing.

I currently have Hilton Gold status and was wondering what I should send to process. When I log onto my hhonors account the first page includes my points, status, stay and night count and base points. Will a PDF copy of this page work?

I just sent them a printscreen of that page and they accepted. I'm Diamond though with 13 stay, 24 nights YTD.

I have received the 60 day diamond trial and had a question regarding the 6,000 bonus points.

For my first 5 nights, I want to credit to Southwest due to the promo that will be ending soon. Per the diamond trial offer, the 1,000 bonus points are for the first eligible nights but as I will be crediting to miles instead of points, will I still get the bonus points for the first 5 nights?
