anyone else with the same problems?

Bill from E-Commerce here

TO ALL WHOSE RESERVATIONS WERE MISSING

I spoke too soon last time. I was told they found the problem and had corrected it. That was true, but apparently they hadn't corrected the underllying problem and the situation with the inability to see existing reservations on multiple channels came back. The IT team reports they found the cause, fixed it, and have released the fix to production. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I do agree it's frustrating that Hyatt has such a poor and unreliable web presence, but I am glad they more than make up for it on the phone.

Bill from E-Commerce here.

I duplicated the problem and have reported it. I'll let you know when this has been fixed.

Thanks Bill. We definitely appreciate your continued presence here, even if only to acknowledge that bugs exist. Hopefully the input of FT'ers can contribute to increased quality in Hyatt's web and IT systems.

More website issues. This is what I get when I try to go to www.hyatt.com:
JBoss Online Resources

JBoss Documentation
JBoss Wiki
JBoss JIRA
JBoss Forums
JBoss Management

Tomcat status (full) (XML)
JMX Console
JBoss Web Console
JBoss™ Application Server
I've tried three times to get in.

Yeah , I've been trying to make a reservation for a few hours ...

anyway, the upside of not being about to view the hyatt website is that I get to try out a new hotel , I've got a few nights booked at Millennium Biltmore in LA , should be nice ...

Seems to be back up now.

spoke too soon. I can access Hyatt sites, but everytime I try to make a reservation, I get an error

As others (myself included) have mentioned, I have never seen a company's website have such bad performance.

I'm not getting the "jboss" error, yet again.

Jeeves Feb 13, 2012 4:26 pm

Yep, severe issues. Alternating between nothing, a statement that the site is under maintenance, and a JBossWeb error....

Although you can't apply a suite upgrade online..

But I'm not surprised that the website is acting up again.
