I'm sorry to sound stupid, but I'm pretty new to this hotel fare error business!...

I keep putting in loads of combinations of dates but all I'm getting back is options in USD

And I can't even see a high to low price button!

Any ideas please? I'll buy you champagne to say thanks!!!

It was starting to show in USD. I wonder if there were so many rates in UGX and when they are used up it is going to USD??

It still is available for 1/13-1/16 so I assume there are other possible dates. The high-to-low price button is a radio button above the phrase "rate description" when you're looking at the list of rates (you pick this after you search for dates, not during).

Look at post #9.

Make sure you try different dates that are at least 3 days' stay. If you only get USD, click on high to low radio button above 1st listed rate.

Just booked 3 consecutive 3 night stays Feb 8 to 17...First 3 nights in a 80 sq m 1 bedroom villa, the next 6 in a Deluxe Oceanfront 1 bedroom villa. We were going to be in Australia for our vacation, but if SPG honours these reservations we will cancel the Singapore-Perth segment of our ticket and go up to Thailand instead.

I got a 2-bedroom Grand Villa, Private Pool, Beachfront, Plasma Tv 42 Inch, Jacuzzi for 12 nights in August. Grand price 13,200 UGX = £3.65GBP

Mistake rate? What's that?

This is either a promotional rate cleverly intended to get media attention, or the hotel revenue managers are engaging in targeted marketing, seeking Ugandan tourist spending. Remember, they'll profit mightily from all these people who otherwise wouldn't have gone to HKT...!

You're likely doing something wrong. It still works for 1/13-1/16 and certainly hasn't been gone for hours.

Now what about airfares?
The deal definitely still works. I booked my villa for March.

Now how do I get an airfare to HKT (ex BOS) to price in Ugandan shillings??
