Still works, booked another room in an oceanfront villa, but this time used a cc with $4 left on it so they don't charge me $1100 per night. Can use z4r for 4 nights or z5r for 5.

This isn't really gonna work, is it?

Got it to work. Seems like you need to be logged in with your Starwoods number. The confirmation email suggests that the third night is indeed free.

Didn't anybody see this in the deposit policy after booking has been confirmed?

USD 2,730.00 deposit charged on 04-Dec-2006 with a(n) null
So, those who used a credit card with a lower credit limit might encounter some issues...not sure.

EDIT: 2nd res I made quotes the deposit in UGX ... hmmmm

Methinks you picked a rate in USD. All of my reservations show the deposit in UGX.

Methinks you're right. Apologies for this - can't pay attention to every detail in moments like these

sweet - i'm in - booked some dates in March - a great reason to go to Thailand & pick up some more suits!

My friend, who is living in Surat Thani, booked a stay for early January - hopefully it gets honored!
