But do you have to gamble? And why is it that range? I'm thinking of New Orleans where Harrah's also allows overnight parking, but you must gamble 30 mins, minimum per day (as registered on your player's club card) - that 30 mins. of gambling can make your parking charge go way up (or, of course, can have the opposite, positive effect).

It has been a couple years, but I remember parking there when we stayed at the Hilton Fallsview. I’m pretty sure that the cost is just based on the time you leave, but like I said, it has been a couple years so I don’t remember all the details.

Parking prices in the Fallsview area are driven by demand. Slack days at the casino can be as low as $5. Busy days can be far higher, even up to $40.

I have never paid to park whenever I have stayed at any of the hotels in this area. Traditionally, getting the free Players Advantage Club (PAC) loyalty card and letting $20 cycle through a slot machine was enough to get free parking in the large casino parking garage. A new operator took over a couple of months ago so I am not sure what the current standard is. If you are unloading a group at the Embassy Suites just tell the parking attendants that you are not parking with them and that you will move once checked in. They will ask for your keys so they can move your vehicle out of the way of others as required, but they will not have a problem with it. They all know that it is far cheaper to park at the casino. If you don't have much luggage just park at the casino outright and walk over.

When you are in the casino you can ask at the PAC desk or check your online account to make sure that you have earned free parking.

Thanks, all, I'll look further into it to see if any rules have changed recently.

Nope, they don't care

Just pay when you leave. They don't ask for your players card at all

Quite true, anyone can park in the casino garage. The only reason to show a PAC card is to get free parking. You simply swipe it at the exit to the garage to avoid having to pay.

BTW, make sure that you end up in a room that offers a view of both Falls. The rooms that only have a view of the Canadian Falls look directly at the side of the adjacent Marriott. The rooms with views of both the American and Canadian Falls have an extremely memorable view.

I booked a room here for this coming summer and I just wanted to throw out there that the reservation system was showing me a "studio" suite as an option in addition to the "regular" suite. The studio suite was just a little bit more expensive, but the room description was identical. I called the hotel to confirm, and they informed me that the studio suite is actually much smaller than the regular suite. So maybe this is just a glitch in the reservation system or someone messed up some data entry. But I wanted to post for other people's benefit. More expensive apparently doesn't always mean a better room!

Any recent stays here? Can you still park at the Casino at a low cost?

Ended up staying here for 3 nights. Booked 2x queen standard suite for 70k points. Inquired about complimentary upgrade for Diamonds and was told they never do complimentary upgrades even for Diamonds, you can pay for one at check in based on availability. Day of arrival saw that my assigned room was Fallsview on the 34th floor so that was nice. Here are my personal pros and cons.

Pros:
- Excellent view of both Canadian and American falls if you book or are upgraded to this room type. There aren't many hotels in Niagara Falls with such great views. We were able to watch fireworks at night from our room without hearing the loud exploding noise that some of my kids hate.
-Room is spacious enough for families as you have 3 queen size beds including the one in the entry room.
-Spacious bathroom area with large tub and shower.
-Bathroom toiletries smelled very good. I honestly liked it.
-I like that there were sinks both inside and outside of the bathroom as well as near the coffee station.
-Staff was very nice both in person and via the app and they responded fairly quickly via the app. However service requests such as additional towels sometimes took a long time in coming or needed several reminders but I believe this was because they were at very high capacity due to some event going on. I'm not sure how it would be had the hotel been at a regular level of capacity.

Neutral:
- Parking fees, as has been discussed, is truly a money grab but we were aware of it prior so really can't complain. The Casino had posted signs that they were charging $60 for self parking so we opted for convenience and parked on site. We did use our car daily so the Casino parking would not have been that much cheaper and would have been a hassle given we were there with family.

Con:
- The biggest one for me that I wasn't aware was that there is no room cleaning service only if you stay for 4 nights or more. I know that there are guests who don't care about that and some who would actually prefer that nobody come into the room and there have been many back and discussions about this. However, I'm not that type of guest and to me personally, daily room service just to make the beds and change the towels so you come back to a pleasant looking room, is (very) important important. I'm on vacation with my family and I don't want to have to be busy with it.

When I requested in the app that they come service the room (being unaware of the 4 night policy), the response was that they don't provide room service unless you book 4 or more nights but that because I'm a Diamond member they'll do it for me as a courtesy. We left for dinner and thankfully came back to a clean room. The following day I had to request it all over again and at first was denied and I said I was told that as a Diamond they were going to do it for me so they acquiesced. But all they did was make the beds and drop off coffee refills that I had requested. No garbage or used towel removal.

Being that they commanded 70k points per night and upwards of $500+ CAD per night for all days of my stay, the no daily housekeeping service business really bothered me.

- Late check out only granted until 12 p.m (regular is 11 a.m.). Anything thereafter would be for a fee even for Diamonds. I explicitly asked and was told 1 p.m. $50, 2 p.m. $70, later than that is not an option. I really only needed until 1 p.m. but didn't want to pay that for an hour so we just took the 12 p.m. option. I don't think it would have killed them to allow us a 1 p.m. check out without a charge.

Overall, we had a nice stay and had a great family trip to Niagara Falls.
