It will be interesting to see a photo of their "yacht" - I'm guessing its going to be far beyond the normal speedboat....

There is no Waldorf branded Seaplane anymore. The one in the picture was used, when the Waldorf Beach House Maldives still existed a few years ago.
After the closure/name change of the Hotel, the seaplane advertising was removed. Also there is no Conrad branded seaplane anymore.

I do think 8Q-TMG is definitely a suitable aircraft for the new W-A, after all, one could easily interpret TMG as an acronym for Too Much Gouging.

I think I'm going to go for the helicopter w/rope. You know, due to the excessive gouging and all.....

the price of the RT transfer fee ($135/person) is supposedly built in, i put two guests so I'm assuming it's built in for two guests.

I assume that is meant te be a roundtrip on the day you arrive at SAii Lagoon and on the day you depart from SAii Lagoon (and not a couple of days after you have already departed from SAii Lagoon by Atoll Transfer to the W=A and returned again by Atoll Transfer).

I would request a quote for a direct transfer from WA to Male, unless you don‘t want to spent another night at the curio.
Depending on the location of your boat operator( if based in or near Male), the price should be similar.

yeah i plan on using it as just the one way instead of paying WA $912 (per couple) on arrival. I will probably pay the $912 (per couple) when returning to MLE to see what it's all about. so i'm essentially "losing" the return leg but in the end it comes to about the same or even cheaper to stay at SAii than to transfer via WA

Not complaining at all. But the yacht pictures look nothing like the Princess 70ft yacht. I think that they may not have bought a new yacht, and just go this one. Looks good though.

My plan is just to do the Atoll Transfer for 580 rt.
