Those pictures remind me of all the wasted potential of Odaiba. It could be Japan's answer to Sentosa, but instead is just a hodgepodge collection of trends who's time has already passed.

I think the SIN gov is about as far as you can get from Japan’s system, esp with the multiple competing layers that don’t get along, the way personal property rights trump all etc.
I’m surprised Japan gets as much done as it does!
