Now I understand why this was so confusing!
The original e-mail that I and Upgrade ME got was for PROMO CODE -- EWRDG -- which was just the Gold card.
Your promo gives a different code - - EWRDC - - AND 50,000 BONUS POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DOC 2 BE. I just checked my account and it appears this reward is retroactive to April 1st. I have had stays in March and April and the first 5000 points booked against the first stay in April. Hope this helps

Oh, it certainly does!!!
One question: Did you pay with a card other than Diners? I have read that a DINERS is NOT necessary. If you got the points for this promo w/o using a Diners, then that clinches it for me.
In the rules for this promo, I see no requirement that you must use a Diners.

I just called Hilton Hhonors Customer Service with the EWRDC code to be added to my exisiting Silver level account. Although my profile shows me as enrolled in the promotion, it did NOT upgrade me instantly to Gold Level. I read in a prior post that some folks showed an instant upgrade to their status. Do I need to wait a few days?

I enrolled in EWRDC promo over the weekend. My last Hilton stay ended Apr. 1. I called HH to see if I would get retroactive points and the rep said it was not possible. I think I'll try calling again tomorrow.
I did not use Diners Club.
