I believe there are 3 different E-rewards/ Hilton Promotions criculating. I personally got one that was an upgrade to silver with 2 stays, I have seen the upgrade to Gold with 4 stays, that UpgradeMe, just linked to and then there is another that is just an instant Gold with no stay qualifications. The Gold and Silver linked to 4 and 2 stays respectively, had codes in their letters, the one detailed above Servus73 for Instant Gold does not seem to require a code reference.

Hi folks, I did it! I´m Gold VIP now.

Just call HHonors under 1-800-548-8690 and play dumb. Tell them you received an email from EREWARDS and you would like to sign up with their INSTANT GOLD VIP promotion. There is NO CODE in the email but they gonna ask you for it. Again, NO CODE necessary. Took me one minute. I checked my HH account and voila GOLD status.

Its the gold challenge. Has been around for a while. Just remember, your status is valid for 90 days only. Stay four times within the 90 days and it would be good till Feb 2003.

I just got in the mail a *new* Gold VIP card valid till 4/2002 (!). I didn't do anything, and I've never stayed at Hilton before http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif It does say I need to stay one night before June 30 or something to activate it, but geez.. are they just giving them away or what?

Yes, and it counts! I just spoke with HHonors and he said that the status is good for one year, not 90 days AND he enrolled my wife in the 50k four stay Gold Challenge. I am so proud of the Mrs., no stays and Gold Status with 7000 points in 4 months http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

The code for the eRewards Gold Challenge is "E-W-R-D-C" If you're already a gold or diamond it will work for you too. I'm a Diamond and participated in the Fast Track bonus in January and now I'm enrolled in this too. I wish I knew about this 3 weeks ago, I've done four stays already this month.

If I book two rooms at a Garden Inn for the same date, one room for myself and one for my folks and I pay for both rooms, will this count as two stays toward my "Gold Challenge"?

TravelManKen: Do you get additional points if you use this code? I am currently a diamond member. The conquest to gold gave an extra 50 000 points. Thanks

I was told this morning that we, as diamonds, would earn the 5k, 10k, 15k & 20k bonuses with the next four stays over 90 days when we enroll for the promotion with the code EWRDC. E-rewards Gold Challenge.

You are right. After reading this, I enrolled my wife in the promotion. She is now Gold without a qualifying stay in 2001.

This is what I was told.
1. For four qualifying stays, she gets a 50K bonus.
2. The status is valid till Apr 2003.

I went to activate my gold vip card and the web page said mya ccount info wasn't found. good one!!! Guess I will have to call them tomorrow in the morning and do it on the phone. d'oh! Anyone else have this problem (I checked the number and pin 4 times!)

Ok, please help me out here - this is getting so exciting that I am getting giddy. Do I understand correctly that as an existing HH Gold VIP I can still participate in this promo and get an additional 50K points in my account after 4 stays in 90 days? Here is the kicker - I became Gold VIP with the recent BYTM promo and got all 50K points in my account with only one stay. However, "just in case" I completed 2 more stays so I have only 1 more to go. Do I wait until I complete this stay to enter this new promo for an additional 50K or do I sign-up today? I only want to do the right thing.
