My guess is that the OP is happy to find a new Hilton property in Berlin which very likely will not be as expensive as the Hilton Berlin.
It is good to get also HI in Europe because, if you travelling mostly arround the continent, it is not easy and/or cheap to get elite status or to rack up stays for the good promos they are running lately.

Have no idea how the Thumbs up appeared as I did not add it to the title when I posted. OTOH, it may have been a glitch in my keyboard (which has been acting up lately and is now in the recycle bin).
BTW, the rate I got was about half of the Berlin Hilton.

+ 1. It happens. Several times I've noticed an unsolicited icon in a title but fortunately caught it before I hit the "send" button. It's the gremlins, 'bro. (Or maybe those Martians.)

Speaking of which, those gremlins have been busy on the Hampton's transportation page - They are quoting the cost of the bus as €210,00 and the cost of a taxi at €1500,00
More seriously, the location looks like it is an easy walk from the Bahnhof Zoo, where the express buses from Tegel stop (X9 and 109, if memory serves).

No reviews? Is this a relatively new property -- no listing on tripadvisor or anywhere else for that matter.
I just booked using points, 25000/night for 3 nights, tgiving weekend.

This hotel is located in the West Berlin area off the Kudamm. It looks to be a good location, although some may prefer the east of the city.

I found two reviews on booking.com so it may be open already. Of course I can't read them since the site will not allow that until five are posted.
Or maybe the Hotel is getting a head start by posting their own good reviews ahead of time.

Does it show what date those reviews were posted? I walked by the construction site last month when I was there and it looked as though they still had a good 2 months left. I know it was suppose to open up this month, but when I tried to make a dummy reservation, the earliest I could do was for November (rates seemed to start in the 70-ish Euros range for basically everyday). One thing about this hotel, it sits adjacent to the S-Bahn track lines. Maybe 10 or 15 feet separates the two. Geographically, it sits one building away from the intersection of Kantstrasse and Uhlandstrasse.

That explains the absence of reviews. Always interesting to try something new.
Looks like it is opening this weekend -- allowed a reservation for 10/3.
