After a trip down to Florida i've noticed a lot of diversity.
I've seen countless Buick Enclaves, as well as Cadillac Ct6, Chevy Equinox 2.0T Premier, Subaru Foresters, Kia Sedona LX, EX, SX-L, Lincoln Navigotor (Base), Honda CRV /Pilot , GMC Terrain SLT. I'm not sure why it is that certain regions have more/better diversity, but it honestly raises my disappointment for the NW area.

I spotted it at Las Vegas airport, and from my source there was a company internal email mentioning the new car models that are on the way.
The new models mentioned in the email included:
CT6
Atlas
X3
3 series
New Santa Fe
New Forester
New Jetta
New G550

I had also spotted a brand new 2018 VW Beetle at LAX this morning.
Also another update on car re-class

GMC Arcadia are now tagged as L/F4 instead of L4/K6

Standard SUV Group L SFAR - Which one is better?

Hi,

First of all thanks to all contributors for this excellent thread! And for all the knowledge shared.

I have rented a Standard SUV Group L SFAR for 8 weeks, planning to do a road trip from Florida to California across some of the major National Parks (Yellowstone, Teton, Zion, Grand Canyon, etc...). I was having a look at the Jeep Grand Cherokee and would be very happy if this is the car I get. However, If I have the chance to choose across others from the Standard SUV Group L SFAR list, which one would you pick?

Thanks!

The only SFAR I would avoid is the Dodge Journey. Otherwise, I'd be ok with any of the others.

Try to get this as part of the FL driveout in the spring, even if it's not with Hertz.

Hertz just received a large fleet of Dodge Journey at most major airport locations and they are now class Q4 instead of L

Ugh. National has gotten a huge influx of them too. Looks like FCA is just dumping them on rental fleets til they can figure out what to do with the badge.

Yesterday I swung by SEA to retrieve a lost item and noticed a Ford Expedition MAX Platinum trim. I hope this will be a common thing.

I’m sure FCA is just trying to milk out any profit off the platform as it’s a terrible car. I rented one yesterday just because it was brand new and was fully loaded and it reminded me how bad the car was. The last time that I rented a Dodge Journey was 6 years ago.

Hello, I have a Prestige Z4 rental (infiniti QX60) at LAX, it seems that they have received a lot from this model, someone knows what engine and what version it is and if it comes with gps.
And what other car options can be in this category?

Rented a brand new, fully loaded one a few months ago, and also remembered how bad the car is.

I can’t answer the rest of your questions, but as for the QX60’s powertrain, it’ll be Nissan’s ubiquitous 3.5L V6 and CVT, since the unpopular hybrid was discontinued for model year 2018 (and I can’t imagine Hertz had any of them anyway).
