Flown much airlines outside US ?
US airlines like UA generally has one purser per plane. (2 on 747, one in the front, one for Y which called after purser.)
Asian airlines like CX, SQ, NH, JL, OZ have F pursers, C pursers, Y purser, (or SQ called lead FA) on top of these pursers, there is one ISM per plane. ISM = Inflight Service Manager. Some other airlines call inflight service director.
Btw, occasionally I saw some hot korean male ISM on OZ. OZ in general had all female FA, but for ISM, generally it is male.

Yea, I have the same experience here, I found that those who gave out email or ask you for your email, either they never send you email, or you never heard from them, many of those are "players", only want the attention, instead of real "play"
