Well, it's no frills but it's Airbus, so no doors flying off just yet. I know someone who likes flying AS on the SJC-LAS segment, so he's undoubtedly gotten to meet the Max before.

As an American, it's all a bit embarrassing. Reminds me how, when I was younger, I wanted to buy American cars. Nobody thinks that way anymore. Even ignoring any safety issues, the narrowbody Airbus give you a noticeable extra inch of seat width, and the widebody 777 has super narrow seats in coach
Assuming you're just referring to narrowbodies, yeah A320 is ~7 inches wider than a 737... we just have to pray evacuation requirements don't change lest airlines try to shove 7 across into an a320.

Well, he makes for great TV, no doubt!
That does not make him immune to misrepresenting facts to fit his goals. He has done two shows on stuff I have subject matter knowledge, and I found both of them were exaggerated as he was bending stats, and his solutions to the problems (which admittedly he identified correctly actually) were ridiculous to anyone with even basic knowledge in the field. But it made for great TV!
