Maybe ATR news are worth a separate thread?
The new ATR interior is very basic. No recline, thin armrests, and thin cushions, sturdy gray "leather". Comfortable for short journeys though, and rigid compared to the old seats. Linking does not function well today =/ but I keep on working on it to provide pictures.

From your pictures, I can see that the overhead lockers have not been changed.. quite a shame because they are really on the small side. Of course, AY could (should) provide a service to pick up your carry-on when exiting the aircraft (like SK does), but I guess it won't happen.

Tray tables seem low placed for tall guys to crack their knees even though there seems space to place them higher up....

Assuming no recline, those seats look awfully similar to what ULCC Spirit Airlines uses complete with the same tray table design.

No recline. Fixed seatback. And very short seat with little thigh support. Makes of course the pitch look better than it actually is.

I was on the first flight, or so they claimed multiple times, of the renewed ATR from HEL-VAA. I found the chairs to be much more comfortable than the old ATRs as my longish back was better supported, much better leg room with the new chairs and no recline meaning my knees were not in the risk of being bruised or crushed. Compared to old seats these felt more like suitable and rounded as my a... ehem, behind didn't feel numb towards the end of the flight. A very good improvement IMO!

Actually I found the height of the tables just right. Just not big enough anymore for multiple drinks at once so you have to wait for another round of service.

You can always gobble the first drink while FA puts the second one on the table

I had also TMP-HEL flight with OH-ATI last Saturday. Easy to recognize on tarmac with new Finnair livery instead of Norra, and also black frame around the windshield (like on A350.... subtle touch). Indeed, surprisingly good legroom for me being 6' and previously always suffered on ATR flights with knees against the seat in front. I would have even posted a couple of photos, but the forum won't let me before 5 posts.

And oh well, hello all from TMP! Just had my first season as Plat and flew the last segments for renewing the status last weekend. Looking forward for 2nd year as I got quite accustomed with the perks associated, even though last year only flying SH, mainly on company dime in Y cabin.

Thanks SPBanker! Next tracking period seems to start with 4 segments per week pace until summer holidays, but will eventually slow down anyway.

BA has fit in 8 seats in WT+ on their A350, and apparently pax find this a lot more cramped than the average WT+ seat. Their 787s have 9 seats in WT and only 7 in WT+.

I wonder what AY is planning to do, but my guess is definitely 8 in PE.
