Some time ago I tried buying value tickets there, but failed, all I could find was basics or pro. I called their customer service and got reply that they don't sell them, actually they told me that if something can't be found on their web pages, there is nothing they can do at their telephone sales either

Went to check if it has changed and searched for a random date. It gives possibility to buy value along with pro and business.

In the future, you can easily check the lounges on oneworld.com. It's pretty accurate most of the time.

In practice: the upgrade tool most probably fails and you use the chat function to sort it out.
But yes, it is permitted, at least for relatives.

Supereasy. You can upgrade anyone anywhere anytime by just calling finnair service and request. Of course you need to tell them the PNR and name of traveller and ask to use your own points or voucher.

I have upgraded a flight with points. A friend of mine has vouchers that will expire. Can we do a switch where I get my points back and he applies his voucher towards my already confirmed upgrade? Has anyone ever done this?
I know such a switch is possible when it involves my points and my vouchers.
