Damn, it was so good option getting to ARN that I'm going to use it myself.

But it's mass tourism, forced to stay 1 night in MAD.

OSL is tourism too, unless you are HEL based, as there are not connections enough to do CPH-HEL-OSL-HEL-ARN in one day. Or I'm I missing something?

Sure there is for both CPH based and HEL based. Let me show You:

(AY661 HEL-CPH 07:35-08:15)
AY662 CPH-HEL 08:55-11:25
AY655 HEL-OSL 12:15-12:40
AY656 OSL-HEL 13:15-15:40
AY645 HEL-ARN 17:30-17:30

and return to HEL possible with AY646 or AY650.

Yes, You are right of course!
But this position will require a night at HEL if going further from HEL. AY646/650 will work for the midnights (HKG, SIN) but misses the entire afternoon wave and so there will still be need for a night in HEL if you have something nice starting in ARN.
If you have something nice starting in OSL then it works fine!

Finnair Plus should run a new "run around central Helsinki with your AY+ card" promo – I went to Decanter yesterday and the points registration wasn't business as usual for the person working there. Didn't see any koristeluraappas, btw.

When was the last time AY81 has been delayed until next morning? Well today it is, happens to be just the day when I should be onboard it to catch my first F1 GP live. Now instead of Premium Lounge Sauna, Napue Tonic + sleep onboard we are facing a nice and smooth 08.00-00.45 (+1) flight, can't even think there could be any worse schedule.

On 09 AUG it was delayed some 9,5 hours. Before that, it seems 18 JAN was the only major delay I can find.

And despite my very factual response, I agree these overnight-delays are terrible. But you are HEL-based so at least you don't have to go to airport only to be sent to hotel around 01:00 and then told to be back at airport at 07:00

True, but actually I thought about taking a hotel at my own cost, but in the end returned home. New ETD is 0700, so we should be at the airport a little before 0700 (= wake up 0430). Most likely the flight will not depart before 0800, but it's still nice to ask passengers to come an hour earlier than needed.

There goes our lounge fun + first day on track and OneRepublic afterparty. Most likely arrival to SIN hotel will be somewhere between 02-03 on saturday morning, after a full day in state-of-the-art A350 Y.

Yeah, a 4:30 wake up is pretty bad too. And losing out at destination too, that is probably even worse. Despite not happening very often these days, these 8-10 hour delays are devastating, and pretty much why I don't trust AY69 if I need to be in HKG on time.

Did you ask to be rebooked on AY69 and CX711? It will get you there "only" 4 hours late, at 20:30

Left the airport immediately (line of clueless people at Check-In), and after holding 30mins on the phone I hung up at my homeyard.

Edit: technical seems to be some kind of toilet issue = OH-LWC
