EF now showing G class. What is this even?

As comparison, on BA G class is for group bookings and day trip fares.

G is group for Finnair too. I've seen G in EF as long as I remember, but not necessarily for all routes.

I must have been blind then. First time I see it.

You see it in the right hand side panel in the summary of the flights you choose ”Economy Q” etc.

And how about after booking? I've looked everywhere in Manage Booking but don't see it.

If you booked directly at AY, you have the ticket receipt.

Booking class changed

After a flight cancelation my fare class was changed from I to U.

I needed this ticket to code as JCD / IR to earn EQM.

Has anyone else had this issue or know if the ticket will recode?

U is an award ticket. That should not happen. Strange. Your fare basis should still remain I-something, but if you are crediting to a programme other than AY+, expect problems.

ugh. lets see what AS says when and it the miles ever appear.

thanks!

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but seemed like the best place to ask my question. Anyone here know how AY credits AA flights booked in economy and cash paid upgrade to business? A lot of discussion on this on BAEC threads, and I suspect the answer is the same (i.e. no longer credits to J) due to information coming from AA but wondering if anyone has any AY-specific experience recently.

Upcoming flight with Z class still being sold. I guess that means not many tickets have been bought, and if still selling Z class the day of flight, plane likely to be pretty empty?
