Current and historical promotions
This is a thread for reporting details of promotions in the Finnair+ program.
The purpose of the wiki is to keep a repository of current and historical promotions. This works best if all details are given in a post of the thread. Once such a post is made, edit the wiki and add a short description of promo in headline-style, with a link to the post that holds the detailed information. (You can create such a link by right-clicking the post-number and copy link location).
Do not link to the promo itself from the Wiki, as the promo page is likely to disappear once the promo ended and such link will die, leaving the wiki sans historical info.

Other then ridiculous promos I have yet to find a good deal with any of these sites PH RM or Kaligo. They work great perhaps for off places with no chain presence or if someone else is footing the bill but rarely otherwise for me obviously some like them as they seem to be popular. I participated the last time when they did the 10k promo but 2k did not get me excited enough I guess 😀

The pointshound rate for my usual hotel there was over 10% more expensive than what I could get on the hotel website...and I would have given up on the hotel loyalty program benefits and points. For 2000 AY extra points, no thank you.

Any educated guesses about campaign fares to the US in Y or J? Flying late June. This year they had good J pricing, but the campaign came very late (booked late June for flights mid-July). And if booking now with money, prices are not at all enticing.
I'm actually trying to burn my last AA miles, just enough for a J roundtrip to the US. But their booking engine only finds loads of phantom availability on AY and fails to ticket anything. Which is strange since AY finds a lot of real availability on their own website. Do they show more availability for AY Plats?

Did you book two one-way flights to get so many points? I just got 8k extra for my HEL-ARN-HEL, so that would be a bit over 10k with value ticket.
