Anyone else Boarding Area page turning white after scrolling?
Scroll down a little and the entire page goes white. Never had any issues before and it just suddenly started today on FF. Chrome worked fine. FF mobile and desktop both same result.

I mean, where do you start with BA?
That all Ben's articles appear twice?
That I get a lot of non-English content on the home page?
That the stupid new side scrolling box near the top does your head in?

Curious when they will start implementing AI tools to auto generate content. That will give the various ghostwriters a run for their money... Daraius/MMS pioneered the use of templates 12-14 years ago, so generating content in a certain scheme should be possible?

The blankness has been happening in Chrome desktop for me, but not Android Chrome Mobile, nor in Incognito Mode on Chrome desktop…

I will say that it seemed (though I'm not positive) to be related to ad blocking. I found that in both Chrome and FF, if I turned off ABP and Ghostery the sites seemed to work fwiw.

"Sky Skylar is a fictional travel blogger created by BoardingArea as the first experimental content creator for frequent flyers. Inspired by Max Headroom, a journalist himself, Skys blogging is influenced by the millions of frequent flyer miles he did not fly but absorbed in reading all the blog posts that have ever been written about travel. Skys origin is rooted in a near-future dominated by AI and the concept of mixed and augmented reality travel. Skys name was inspired by the Sky King character in an old western TV series, a comically ironic name for a fictional travel blogger who has never flown but knows and understands everything about travel."
So a new, cool idea inspired by 40 and 70 year-old references.
I'd call it the Poochie of writing, but that's a 30 year old reference. The writing is as you'd expect, which is unoriginal, uninformative, and essentially like taking a press release and publishing it straight to the web. It's probably just good enough to draw non-reader casuals to the site, but offers nothing to any FT reader, or really any BA reader for that matter. Comment are moderated, so no pushback is allowed.
Oh, and the thumbnails are also AI-generated for the total package.

Congratulations! It has begun with "Sky Skylar", BA's hilariously boring and blah AI faux travel writer. I hate to give it any publicity, but the tragicomically bad "bio" for an, ahem, person that by definition doesn't exist tells you all you need to know and avoid. To wit:

This article is so hillarious, it has to be satire?

But remember, according to Randy "The blogs you will find on BoardingArea are the best of the best, the cream of the crop, the cats meow you get the idea"

But the images are gold.
It started to go off the rails for me at Cabin Experience. Then apparently Norse Premium (Norese Premiw?) has you seated alternately in a stave church or in the massage parlour of a luxury cruiseliner with candles and fire pits...

Any article that starts with 'In the X world of X' is 100% guaranteed untrained AI generated.
But those ridiculous photos are just...*chefs kiss*

The Qsuite article is also pure satire: https://boardingarea.com/qatar-airwa...-in-the-skies/
Imagine the physical configuration of the outside of an aircraft with windows on two perpendicular sides of the plane....
