Congratulations! It has begun with "Sky Skylar", BA's hilariously boring and blah AI faux travel writer. I hate to give it any publicity, but the tragicomically bad "bio" for an, ahem, person that by definition doesn't exist tells you all you need to know and avoid. To wit:

Sky’s name was inspired by the Sky King character in an old western TV series, a comically ironic name for a fictional travel blogger who has never flown but knows and understands everything about travel."

So a new, cool idea inspired by 40 and 70 year-old references. I'd call it the Poochie of writing, but that's a 30 year old reference.

The writing is as you'd expect, which is unoriginal, uninformative, and essentially like taking a press release and publishing it straight to the web. It's probably just good enough to draw non-reader casuals to the site, but offers nothing to any FT reader, or really any BA reader for that matter. Comment are moderated, so no pushback is allowed.
