Is there a place that shows photos of all the RL meal choices? Google hasn't come up with anything. It would really go a long way to helping make a decision for travelers.

Long time ago (~15yrs), I have seen some pictures of EVA Biz class meal online. They have not shown it for a while, may be too many passengers complained that the meal they got did not look like anything in the photographs.

EVA Timetable now is showing 77A configuration starting 29/30th May 2014, maybe a delay in delivery date.

The aircraft B-16718 is doing flight test at Paine Field, WA. Two noticeable differences from previous EVA 77W aircrafts :
1. Satcom Radome (Wifi)
2. No EVA AIR name in Chinese characters.

Interesting update...looks like the titles were moved forward too. ANA for example has only English titles...

Going to pick the Lobster while SO is going to get the Lamb Rack. Guess both are on the inflight menu. Contemplating if I should pick one of the non-inflight menu meals and ask for the lobster at the same time too. LOL

Looks like all the on-menu options for your flight are similar to the online-only options when I flew EVA. I had lobster tail, and it was very good even by on-the-ground standards if a little small. I generally have a rule of not ordering red meat on a plane because it usually isn't good, but with EVA I would not hesitate.

Sorry, I'm taking this flight at the end of January. At the moment I'm leaning toward the:

Chilean Seabass with Crispy Bean Sauce, Seasonal Vegetables, Egg Fried Rice (豆酥海鱸魚佐時蔬及蛋炒飯)

The other supper dishes sound too heavy for the late departure or too pedestrian.

Lob was the best. Rack of lamb, was so, so.
Offerings have gone downhill.
Used to wheel out a cheese cart after dinner (USA-TPE) - no more.
Choice of fresh fruit offering post dinner, yes with even wax apples! (TPE-USA) - no more
Sundae cart (both ways) no more
Dom (both way) - no more, although the Veuve is pretty good.

Cheese burger is ok, fries are fat fries that taste like if eating cold-ish soggy fries with a tough skin.
At least the seat and whisky offerings still work!
