You’ll need to cancel (incur fee) and rebook (assuming availability). They won’t make accommodations (no fee / availability) due to the equipment change.
I prefer EK F on the 380 over the 777 (non-Game Changer) due to the cabin noise (less) and greater spaciousness of the suite. The bathrooms (forget shower aspect for a second) are also much better. Never had service issues even when full. But at this level, it’s splitting hairs. I’ll take any EK F on the most convenient route. And I would not build in a stop in a place I don’t need to be and fly the next day to my real destination just to experience Game Changer F over regular EK F. You’re adding another flight experience in some terrible euro business / economy short haul situation — to me, it defeats the whole purpose of flying F. |

I flew the game changer suite during Covid twice from JFK and both suites were falling apart. They are not aging as well as the other suites. |
Once the novelty wore off, I'm now quite indifferent about game changer vs. A380 vs. 777 in F. By all means it's worth doing once, but now I wouldn't go out of my way.
J is obviously a very different story, and A380 remains significantly better than any version of the 777. |

Interesting my view is exactly the opposite and I still find the difference huge. As a light sleeper, New F is almost the only cabin I can guarantee I'll be able to sleep in which makes a massive difference to me. A380 F in particular is often constant noise from 13 other passengers eating, drinking, chatting etc. which isn't drowned out given the A380 is very quiet. 14 passengers is just too many for an F cabin IMO.
I agree that, in a vacuum, 14 pax in F sounds like too many but it depends how an airline approaches it. EK does an excellent job with enough staffing and catering and for me, it’s never been an issue. Would I trust an airline like AF, LH or LX with 14 pax in F? Absolutely not. |

Non-Game Charger 777? To me, the seat/suite on the 380 feels bigger. Next time, I’m bringing a ruler! :D Seriously, I’m happy on any EK F.
Luckily, I have no trouble at all sleeping in any EK F and have never had sleep/noise issues on the A380 because of the other 13 pax. Agree there is not a service or catering issue on the A380, it’s the cabin size/design I take issue with. |

The 777 cabin is definitely wider (upper deck A380 is narrower than a 777) but I don’t know if the suites are wider or extra space is just given to the aisles.

The 777 F suites also feel longer than the A380 suites. I noticed this as I need to reach much further to touch my carry on in the 777 suite than the A380 one.

If traveling F with a companion, what are the preferable seats? The center partitions make the middle seats sub-optimal for companions, right? What do couples do, choose a window and an aisle opposite in the middle?

The Mrs and I tend to take the middle pair, at least then we can talk and see each other when the suite doors are closed. If you take window plus aisle you need to keep the doors open AND talk across the aisle. No brainer for me. |

I will be traveling to London this Mar and want to try the Emirates First Class Game Changer. I was researching and wondering if they are still flying from DXB to STN or LHR. If it is STN, is it still EK065/66? Appreciate any help on this

You will have to take EK-41 to LHR. |
