I don't think you'll be able to book it as one fare as Emirates generally don't publish fares from most of the EU to USA. It's too far in the "wrong" direction that nobody would usually book it (except flyertalkers of course).:)

It prices out on GF and their website so fingers crossed that's still the case when my preferred dates open up and that it goes through booking. Seems like a perfectly reasonable routing for us crazy FTers! :P

Is there an updated list of where gets the new F? It’s back on HND since flights restarted (we were lucky enough to get half price points upgrades on it recently J-F).
But I guess one of the routes must have been dropped in favour of HND?

NCE no longer gets new F but does get new J so I guess the airframe that was operating this route is now being deployed to HND or on the 2nd daily STN rotation.

Temporary change for NCE until the 380 returns on this route from the 1st June.

No EK44 is old First, but EK48 the 10:20pm departure has new First.

I'll be on that in a couple weeks. Is the FRA EK lounge any good? My understanding is that EK outstation lounges do not have a dedicated F area?

Anyone know why STN get 777s with new F, while LHR doesn’t?

Seems to me it should be the other way around no? Does EK have a company contract/clientele to/from STN that warrants sending these new F equipped birds?

LHR and LGW are all 388.

There is no F area in the outstation lounges. The lounges are fine, nothing to get too excited about or that warrants arriving early (but still better than most business class lounges).

EK is slot limited at LHR so every flight needs to be on an A380 as EK needs every F seat it can get from LHR. STN actually has a quite wealthy catchment area including tech/biopharma corporates around Cambridge etc, as well as being the easiest to access airport for a lot of the finance industry based in East London, which is probably what warrants it. In addition 6 F seats probably works better than 8 in old 777 F (I think similar applies to likes of ZRH, GVA, NCE etc. where the population in the catchment area is not massive but includes some pockets of very high wealth that is willing to pay a premium). It's not a co-incidence STN is the only airport to get new F twice a day.

Popping up the thread for a confirmation. Do both the services from STN to DXB get the Gamechanger for sure? Or is it one which is confirmed and the other keeps on changing? Please help

Both STN flights get it until end of November only, then STN loses new F for now, sadly. This is covered in another thread.

Hey could you guide me to that thread please. Was looking to book it for Jan 24 but I guess it's not to be
