I doubt there's room. The only reason they have them in the A380 is due to the wasted space at the front of the A380 on either side of the stairs. If there was room for seats, I doubt there'd be showers :)

Were the current F seats first revealed on A380 and then trickled down to 777, or what was the process like back then?

I think it was the 380 then onto the 777...

The current F seats/suites were initially on the A340-500 many moons ago. Way ahead of all the competition at the time.

Can still remember setting foot on an A345 and seeing those dark-wood panel suites. It was truly unbelievable.

Looking good.

Did I spot some binoculars in that preview? Standard equipment on F window seats?!

It looks like the vast starry ceiling is gone. I'd wager a wild guess that there's now a crew rest above F (instead of way down the back).

I must say I am enjoying all the speculations here. The combination of binoculars and crew rest is certainly the best so far.....

Not long to go now before the reveal.

I’m looking forward to flying this next year, I’m thinking this is better that the SQ first which I’ve actively steered away from on my flight next year, I just don’t like that at all.

I’m hoping this brings a better use of space, the current EK first has too much padding when a wider seat and therefor larger bed would be a better choice.

Yeah, in 2004 (I think) I paid about £1k for a CAI-AKL return trip in F. Sitting in one of those suites made me think I'd really hit the big time :)

Maybe , or heating of the seat ? I think the binoculars are for your viewing pleasure when wanting to take a look at the scenery while flying - a bit of a different approach to amenities offered. However it looks really stunning so far , can not wait for tomorrow :D:D

Could it be a suite with an upper bunk bed? :D

I think fully enclosed floor to ceiling suite is probable. Wasn't there a rumor of it being like a train compartment?

That's a great upgrade if it is, because unlike the EY apartment one can actually have full control of lighting and temperature, the latter being a big factor.
