Yes, the ‘discrepancy’ indicates that SN expect there to be enough no-shows to accommodate the 3 oversold seats plus the one they are still willing to sell.

thanks a lot for the reply . So as at now am book in Y flex Plus . If Y cabin is that full , we can “assume” it must be oversold . But that’s just an assumption. Hoping I can get an Op-up . Tho EK tries hard to sell upgrades with cash out of MRU (yes , mostly based in MRU these days, which is quite cool indeed) . As a matter of fact, we almost (maybe I am aware of 1 exception 4-5 years ago) never get upgraded before boarding here in MRU , certainly not at check in , even if we ask if the flight is full etc . They try to sell J upgrades or F depending on your class of travel . Which is a source of revenue , perfectly understandable. All That to say that if the flight is overbooked and they manage to sell enough upgrades , skywards status holders may not heave op-ups . Regardless, op up quite frequent here in MRU. i will report back if got op up. Fingers crossed.🤞 @BA Hamburg , what does the 98% means and the 10m or 12m ? |

Re-looking at your flights as separate legs, MRU-DXB looks pretty empty, DXB-BCN is looking good for an op-up if you're high on the pecking order: EK 7020MRU 09/01/24 4:35 PMDXB 09/01/24 11:10 PM388 Daily 98% / 10mF4 A4 J7 C7 I7 O7 Y9 R9 X9 M0 B0 U0 K0 Q0 L0 V0 EK 2550DXB 09/02/24 3:25 AMBCN 09/02/24 8:35 AM77L Daily 89% / 12mJ7 C7 I7 O0 Y0 R0 X0 M0 B0 U0 K0 Q0 L0 V0

For op up purposes (and based on his last post that seems what JasonMRU is looking for), It would be useful to look at these as individual flights instead as married segments. Then you could see which of the segments is limiting Y to 4 seats.
