Miles upgrades to Business come from "D" and don't show on these searches. Open for sale does not correlate to open for upgrade.

easiest way to check this is to search for a miles ticket on the emirates website (search roundtrip as one way will only look for the more expensive buckets) and look for "saver" availability which correlates with the class you need which is D class. There are 3 seats on the evening flight but none on the 162 currently
