Information on Load requests
The number of seats for sale for a flight are available via ExpertFlyer.com, a subscription-based service with a 5-day free trial. A subscription is $9.99/month and can be enabled and disabled any time. It is encouraged to subscribe rather than post repeatedly in this thread.
NB: Op-up changes or overselling of a flight cannot be determined with certainty from this information, only inferred to be more or less probable.
For a once-off load request please follow these guidelines:
Flight loads >7 days out are not very useful, as the airline could still sell many seats, unless availability of a specific fare bucket (e.g. Business Saver upgrade) is requested. If you wish to know the general flight load please don't post >7 days before departure.
When requesting a load please provide the following information:
- Date of flight (departure date)
- Flight Number
- Origin
- Destination
These four fields are mandatory in searching on ExpertFlyer (see screenshot below) and it isn't fair to except those who pay for their subscriptions to also have to go look up which cities a specific flight number is from and to (also some flight numbers are onward flights (5th freedom routes, e.g. CMB-MLE) and loads will differ significantly depending on which sector of the flight is checked.

Anyone knows what's going on on the DXB-IAH flights? haven't seen Y availability for pretty much the entire month, while IAH-DXB shows plenty available even in Y Saver.
I'm flying 17/8 DXB-IAH on Bus Flex ticket. Any ideas how my opup chances are (Gold), or is it too soon to tell? EF says F4 A3 J5 C5 I0 O0 P0 Y0 E0 R0 W0 M0 B0 U0 K0 H0 Q0 L0 T0 V0 X0 so probably some upgrades from Y to J... Is the flight Plat heavy?

No dice for a free upgrade. They did offer an upgrade for 385 though.

Assuming you're gold, it depends on the fare bucket of your ticket (special, saver, flex, flex+). I don't know the Kolkata - Dubai flights but from the above I think your chances are nil. Then again, 18th is still a long way ahead...

Strategic move of Emirates to increase the price?

The flight may be oversold, as only higher fare Y tickets remain for sale. It's hard to tell, I hope this thread doesn't become an eternal cycle of "how are my chances" and "we don't know" because ultimately, no one knows.

No seats available to choose!
Hi all,
I have just tried to check in for my Emirates flight and there are no seats available at all for me to choose. There were 3 but then I logged in later to conplete it and there were 0. What is likely to happen when I get to the airport tomorrow? Bumped off?
I am continuing my journey in a weeks time and notice all the seats have been pre-selected for me. Ideally I would like an exit row as I'm 6ft 5... will have to ask at check in for those flights.
any advice would be appreciated.

So you don't have any assigned seat for this upcoming flight? Your post isn't quite clear. If you already have one assigned and there are no others to choose then you'll have to wait for check-in. Same goes for you not having any assignment yet. At check-in exit rows will be opened up, so there are definitely blocked seats which won't be assigned yet.

Sorry if I was unclear, 3 out of 4 of my flights have a seat already assigned. However the first one says incomplete and when I go to select one, none are available.
