The new Emirates commercial featuring Jennifer Aniston

I know a few people have probably been waiting for this. It seems like Emirates are continuing their theme of taking a dig at the U.S. carriers

Trolling has been the new trend to stand out. Nevertheless, its a cool ad ^. Aniston in her usual wit & charm..!!

I like it.

A cleverly-constructed ad, and packs a lot into one minute.

Although, one of the comments posted on the youtube site certainly did strike a chord with me - and not in a good way ..........

"Jen, you will get your wish. Every Emirates flight I've been on in recent months has spent an hour or so circling above Dubai in a holding pattern waiting to land at the worlds busiest airport."

Ah yes .... truth can be stranger than fiction

Wow, great execution and not too overboard with the cheeky. Really aligned well with the talent's (Jennifer Aniston) strengths. Nice one Emirates, better than Etihad's Nicole Kidman ad (although their signature sound/music for First really embeds in the head)

Was sceptical that it was a wise move getting someone on as a brand ambassador who adamantly refuses to use social media in a professional capacity, but was pleasantly surprised by the advert - I think it works well!

I guess they can always hire someone in addition to target the Instagram generation - Jennifer Aniston is probably targeting another market (that pays for ex-USA J/F fares!!)

Very funny and clearly making fun of US based carriers. Will be a lot more effective than Nicole Kidman's ad on the US market.

Clever. Inventive. Funny. Everything their USA competitors don’t seem to be, IMO.

Small technicality. It might be my old age and general lack of attention to detail, but I am sure when I listened to the advert audio originally, Aniston refers to "shower and lounge", but on the latest version she refers to "shower and bar" onboard. Not significant at all, do I need a hearing aid, or did other posters hear the same thing (bar vs lounge)?

Purely out of curiosity rather than relevance.

..........or, in all probability, from EK's (well-remunerated) ad agency people.

Either way, it's smart stuff ^
