Miles Posting Delay
Folks
There's a systemwide IT glitch at present, causing delays in miles posting to members accounts. Not sure when its being fixed, but the IT teams are working on it. Best advice is to call EK and have them post the miles manually, which they can do on the spot.
Make sure you keep all boarding passes/ticket stubs or at least have your ticket number as a reference.
I've sent an email to DXB asking for an update, so as soon as I hear more will let you know.
Cheers

I have noticed the same problem. Miles earned appeared in my skywards account more than three days after sectors completed. They would normally show within 24 hours. There are some more problems currently. I booked two flights through business rewards. The future booking and future miles did not apepar in my Skywards account. They would normally show within a few hours after the booking was made. This time they only showed after I contacted Skywards via web form. I guess this was through a manual adjustment.

I finally got all mine sorted (nearly a week after the flight was taken) by emailing them. Pretty pathetic that the email told me to quote my Skywards number on all bookings or use the website when all this had been done and it was clearly a problem with their systems.

Further I was really pee'd off because I wanted to use the miles for an upgrade which was available when I expected the miles to be credited, but when they actually arrived in my account a few days later, guess what? Yes, of course, the upgrade availability had vanished.
Must say I'm getting less impressed with Emirates by the day. Maybe time to look for an alternative.

Maybe they "can do", but when I phoned and got the Indian call centre it was a case of "wouldn't do". I was told to email Skywards in Dubai. Great service (not)!

Flew CMN_DXB on Monday 10/29 in J class and was disappointed not to see the miles appear in the account soon after (have come to expect big things of EK by the standards they set). Interesting my wife and children who flew with me on the same flight (under a separate PNR) had the miles credited to their respective accounts within 24 hours.
After reading this thread, called EK and they took care of it on the spot! ^
Thanks Eightblack et all.

I had a day trip from DXB to LGW on Friday and the outpound posted but the return did not. Waited 48 hours and reported it through "Missing Miles' on line and they posted 24 hours later. May be a glitch (still) or the conspiracy theorists among us may see it as a plot to reduce their miles liabilities by winning some from those who do not track as closely as we all do ...
