QF9 in F... Lounge Access?

When flying on QF9 (presumably out of T3) in F, are you entitled to the EK F lounge?

Thanks for that. It wasn't showing up on the EK site, but I managed to put it through the QF site. Life's good

I am a Qantas Platinum but are planning to join Emirates Skywards obviously starting as a Blue.

If I take an Emirates flight with my Skywards (Blue) FF number registered against the booking, can I still access Emirates priority checkin, first class lounge etc... given I am a Qantas Platinum?

Or can I only do this if I register my Qantas FF number against the booking?

You don't have to. Have you thought of asking them for a status match to Gold at least?

As long as you have the card to present, then there is no issue

Actually, there have been issues. It seems EK and/or QF want PAX's Elite FF program registered against the flight segment to get status based lounge access.

Having recently flown a couple of QF Coded EK operated flights, I'm tempted to book EK more often while I can continue to earn QF SC's and cabin+status bonus points.

Not sure if this was the outcome QF had in mind (and I assume they get some $$ for being the marketing carrier) but the partnership at least got me to try out Emirates.

EK Booked flights - MAN SYD both segments EK, on the return SYD-SIN (QF flight) then SIN-MAN.

I know I cannot use EK miles to upgrade the SYD-SIN sector, however, is it possible to upgrade this segment with QF miles?

So
MAN-DXB-SYD, EK operated with EK or QF flight numbers?
SYD-SIN-DXB-MAN operated by QF/EK/EK with EK or QF flight numbers?

If QF marketed look at https://www.qantas.com/au/en.html?tabId=manage-booking
Put in name & PNR (QF flight number) and that will/may show "upgrade" button in red
Do you have QF ff points?

But I do not like your chances on a mixed EK/QF reservation.

Was to save starting a new thread...

All flights will be booked through EK website. MAN-DXB-SYD both EK, SIN-DXB-MAN both EK. Only flight I am unsure of in SYD-SIN. It has an EK flight number (EK5061) but it is operated by QF. Never been in this position before so I am unsure how it would work with upgrades.

I have both EK miles and QF miles to use.

With EK flight numbers you cannot use QF points. QF do not do cross airline ff upgrades.
