Does anyone know if and which 777-300ER still do not have First Class suites? The fleet listing above shows no 12F 77W config but when you check details for routes flown by A6-EBY, EBQ, ECE, EK description says The Ultra Long Range 777-300ER features spacious luxury in First Class, NOT luxurious privates suites like it does for other 77W..

All 3-class 77Ws definitely have Suites.

Business class seat confusion

In researching business class seats on the 777-300ER vs the A380, I'm confused between the information at the top of this thread, the EK website, and the internet.

The EK website show a series of pictures depicting business class on their 777-300ER's as this:

Which is the same as the A380. However, they use the term "Lie-flat" and the letter "L" on seat maps for the 777-300ER, and "Flat-bed" or "F" on A380 seat maps. Further, the 777 seat maps are arranged in a 2-3-2 straight, single row pattern, while the A380 are in a 2-4-2 off-set, alternating pattern (like the photo above).

Given the 777 seat map, however, is this really the seat on the 777's, which is depicted across the internet?:

Which seat should I expect on the 777-300ER's?

That one is the actual 777 J seat

I noticed this recently and my opinion is the website is deliberately confusing, although not incorrect if you read carefully.

The seat in your first picture is the A380 J class and, as above, the second is the B777-300ER.

I tried to follow what I think the airline would like it's passengers to do when researching flights. So, on EK's website, I clicked on the "See What's On Your Flight" link, so that it brings up the right aircraft that's slated to be on that route on that day.

Since it brought up the 777-300ER, I then clicked on the Business Class link that appears on the results page, and it displays all of the photos of the A380 J seat. This is not deliberately confusing, but deliberately misleading - false advertising.

Still, I get it, so will now avoid that route. Thanks for the clarity, regardless - much appreciated!

It is a 2 class 777-300ER, the EK internal Code 73K is to differenciate between ICE Widescreen (37J) & none Widescreen (37K) - barely used, not very reliable due to operational swaps of used aircraft.

It is similar to the 73M/N and 73V/W codes mentioned in the list above

I've just noted new A380:
A6-EEU A380-800 3-class 14F/76J/401Y 27/03/14

with 401 seats in Y (it was 399 for so called ULR version)
this in new tendency? or this one airplane is exception? why?

I believe they added 2 extra seats in Y to all the new A380s.

Yes, 80 A & K have been added from A6-EEU onward. Discussed here:

Is it possible to include into the list, which aircraft have the upgraded new ICE digital widescreen with the 12/21/27 inch capacitive screens (Y/C/F respectively), the Karma touch handset and the "tablet"-like controller in First/Business?
The new system was introduced around summer/autumn of 2012. For the A380-fleet, I can tell for sure, that A6-EDX does not have it yet, but A6-EEF already does. For the 77W fleet, the A6-EGM does not have it yet, but A6-EGU does. (I flew those tailsigns recently)
So the switch to the new system must be somewhere in between these tailsigns.

A380 changed over from A6-EEF and onwards.

B777 changed from A6-EGP.
