From a legal perspective, AA will still have to satisfy the Israeli court judgement pertaining to former TWA employees otherwise the a/c they fly to TLV could get impounded. The Israeli government, from a technical standpoint, could do nothing about that as the judiciary in Israel is independent and has exclusive domain over civil litigation and judgment matters.

Assuming they go ahead with a heritage livery plane, it'd be ironic if the flew one of their TWA heritage livery planes to TLV and it got impounded.

Good question. Also, even if they indeed are hiring more Hebrew speaking f/a's it could be to replace existing ones that are moving on to different routes or leaving the airline for whatever reason. They may want to increase the number of Hebrew speaking f/a's for f/a scheduling purposes. Bottom line is that there are a variety of reasons other than increasing frequencies for the hiring, assuming they are indeed hiring.

The new FAs will be based in US's bases so I assume they are only meant to replace current FAs, and to operate PHL-TLV.

Hebrew speaking pilot
I flew only once with USAIR
TLV-PHL - a pilot with excellent hebrew, the FA had broken hebrew.
PHL-TLV - FA with excellent hebrew.
I wonder if the hebrew speaking FA gives added value to any of the passengers.

I wonder if, technically, as long as US is on a separate operating certificate, they could fly to TLV from new destinations?
And every UA flight from/to TLV always has at least one FA speaking hebrew, often 2. Sometimes the purser as well. I wouldn't mind this whole thing of repeating announcements 2x but it blocks out the IFE.
