Given the difficulties I had in sourcing cholula for the first time (when we got two), at the first opportunity we grabbed more. 6 little bottles (the largest they had) in the cardboard presentation box. Only one and a half are left now.
We've had a similarly sized bottle of tabasco for longer and only now is it coming to its end.
Cholula is definitely the hot sauce of choice in our house.

I'm still not mobile, so that's my main barrier to stocking up, but MrLapLap independently mentioned this evening that we were running out and he'd be getting more (he never even saw this thread and I never mentioned it).
Enjoy your time in London and don't worry about my Cholula situation (it's now in hand). But do please PM me if you know you'll be in the Camden area.

I like tapatio but that stuff is hard to find in my area.
Cholula is a good competitor ^ I eat it anything one would use it for such as breaded chicken, steak (yes!!), cheap macaroni and cheese... mmmmmmm soo good.
Only have tabasco for the cajun as the sour taste of Cholula doesn't do well in a gumbo if you ask me.

Cholula is awesome! I drank this stuff (JK) with everything when I was in Houston... It's spreading, though - we have it in Ohio at the local Mexican places now!
The green Tabasco is also really tasty!^

I remember seeing Cholula the Poster in the DL forums when I was active there 3 years ago, never have been much a hot sauce person, the mild sauces at Tijuana Flat's was as adventurous as I got, but then CO starting serving this Chicken Fajita Wrap on their flights, accompanied by a small package of Cholula Sauce, Had to Try!! and I am Addicted Now! Can't believe I missed out all of these years, love it on Chicken and Mexican Food and yes the Fries as well!

Here's a thread about finding Cholula in London
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=679345
I picked up 20 bottles recently from Asda in Colindale (luckily they were heavily discounted at 78p a bottle ^) which should just last us a year.
My favourite way of eating it is in a sandwich of homemade bread with chips/fries and mayonnaise.
Lately, MrLapLap has taken to customising Miso soup
(recipe was given to us in this thread http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=785352)
He likes the soup as it is, but I make a huge pot at a time, so it's nice to have variation.
By adding several generous slugs of Cholula he says it takes on a Mediterranean flavour very different to its usual Japanese taste. Basically, it turns it into an entirely different soup.
What I find strangest is that despite the quantity of Cholula we add, in this example the chili heat is barely detectable - a rich tomato/capsicum pepper taste predominates instead.

I had an unusual Cholula spotting last week on my UA flight. Jim Carrey's film "Yes Man" played. I wasn't paying full attention, but perked when I heard his date/gf, the Middle Eastern woman with the head scarf, say "Pass the Cholula." Sure enough. There it was. ^
