Coors anyone?
Coors is getting into the whiskey business with a bourbon blend. The product, Five Trail will hit the shelves in September with a suggested $59.99 price point. More here.

I want to buy a bottle of bourbon for a friend as a thank you...maybe $40 max. What do you all recommend? It seems that maybe Woodford is a favorite here.
BTW...I had an interesting cocktail that sounds weird but was really good. It was basically an old fashioned but with a small amount of banana puree added. As odd as it sounds, the banana really smoothed it out and didn't make it taste like bananas.

Here in NC it shows up in waves but increasingly longer gaps between them unfortunately so YMMV

The Woodford and big ice cube tray were a hit. Now she just has to hide the booze from her husband---not that he has a problem, just that she wants it to herself.
Thank you everyone for the ideas and help.
