I too vote for ruebens. A good one must go 1500 cal or more. Corned beef with russian dressing and cole slaw on jewish rye comes in as a close second choice. Burp!

The chief difference being the age of the cabbage? :D

Peanut butter, honey and bananas on really fresh soft white bread top my list.

Close second are Monte Cristos - but only from a hotel coffee shop in Las Vegas. They seem to be the only ones in the world who really know how to make them. The Mirage is the best, followed closely by MGM.

Bacon, lettuce and tomato on white toast or grilled Swiss cheese on white.

Reuben for me as well...the best iteration I have found is at Katzinger's Deli in Columbus Ohio.

Well, my favorite sandwich is the one sitting on a plate in front of me.

If it's not there yet, I like to make:

1. PB and banana
2. PB and iceberg lettuce
3. Virginia ham and swiss with coleslaw
4. Any reuben, but especially knockwurst
5. My own tuna salad (heavy on the chopped sweet gerkins)
6. Egg salad
7. Cream cheese and olives
8. Meatloaf with French's mustard
9. Omelet on a hard roll
10. Homegrown tomato with american cheese and mayo

I could go on, but I've suddenly gotten hungry for some unknown reason. I think I'll go make a sandwich. :D
