Mesquite charcoal-grilled hamburgers (in the rain :) ). They turned out especially well this time. Blended (per usual) 90/10 ground beef (93/7 just doesn't have enough fat for flavor; 85/10 would even be better but 90/10 is our half-nod towards "health" ;) ) + a few tablespoons of hickory bbq sauce + a couple of tablespoons of Team Sweet Mama's Kansas City Barbecue Rub + a few tablespoons of bread crumbs to help bind the patties together. Paired with Mrs. cblaisd's homemade yeast hamburger buns.
Made enough for leftovers :) |

Charcoal grilled lemon-pepper-olive oil rockfish fillets, strawberries & raspberries, and homemade garlic buns. Oreos for dessert :)
Also charcoal grilled (in an aluminum pan, a kind of on-the-grill stir-fry) from spouse cblaisd a medley of asparagus, green pepper, red onion, & sugar snap peas spiced with basil, thyme, garlic, and black pepper. She is a fan. I am not ;) |
