Ice cold beer hides the flavor of good beer. Now, if you are talking about macroswill, ice cold is the way to go because they have basically no taste anyway and are meant to be served ice cold.

The graphic below is a good guide.

Deschutes IPA

Alaskan Stratosphere IPA
Alaskan Icy Bay IPA

Bear Republic Racer 5 IPA

Calicraft Brewing The City IPA

(Yesterday was clearly brought to you by the letters I, P, and A.)

This thread is turning into, "what beer, ale, or similar is GW drinking?"

Racer 5 is one of my favs. So is Fresh Squeezed IPA from Deschutes.
Tonight was simply Indica IPA from Lost Coast.

If I had to rank the five, I would put them as Stratosphere > Racer 5/Deschutes (tie) > The City/Icy Bay (another tie).

I knew neither. They’re in the fridge. Host also opened Champers and 3 bottles including 2 Pinot noirs. I had none of it and I’m sure I missed out. Host has a full wine fridge and the interior temperature can be adjusted so that the champagne and red wines are at different temperatures. I didn’t know such tech existed. It was like 5’ or maybe taller. Lots of shelves.

Mega wasted! I only started drinking after my spouse said they’d drive. Monday drinking ftw. It’s a very nice house - big so as one goes big, I guess it’s more like $900/sq ft. Elevator! Lol. I love nice houses. The potty was so nice.

Modelo Especial (draught)

I used to love that stuff when I was seeing this girl out in California. Now... not so much.
